Formally qualified as a degree qualified accountant and complemented by another degree in computer programming, I provide a bridge between end users of the financial software and the internal development team - developing client requirements and supporting the creation and implementation of custom software requirements. While the Nexus ERP support arm was acquired in May 2013 by the software developer, the hardware and consumables business continued for several more years.

I ran the IT department and also established a support business for Nexus ERP, During the ten-year tenure I supported the complete relocation of the business, built up the support business to fund internal IT projects at zero cost to Kookaburra Sport. I became an integral part of the internal management team for this family owned company, providing input to financial, warehousing and IT decisions. I developed a costing system for the manufacturing division and implemented a barcode inventory system to facilitate all inwards, internal and external stock movements. Changes were then orchestrated up the supply chain to provide further cost savings to the organization.
