As Senior Associate for PwC based in Edinburgh, Ross has worked for a wide range of clients from asset and wealth management to industrial clients in numerous sectors. Ross secured a summer internship within the audit department at PwC Aberdeen. Within this role Ross prepared industry analysis and spent much of the six weeks at client offices carrying out audit work. In such a short space of time he developed a strong understanding of the oil and gas industry in Aberdeen. His interpersonal skillset enabled him to build great relations with both colleagues and clients that led to Ross being offered a graduate position.

Ross worked within the current account and savings department dealing with existing banking clients. This role required extensive knowledge of products and general banking knowledge along with good problem-solving skills. Ross excelled in this customer facing environment which led to Nationwide creating a new part-time role to try and convince Ross to work whilst studying at university.

Ross was a member of the mortgage team. The role involved dealing with potential new clients, selling new products, processing customer information and producing Agreements in Principle, along with general servicing of mortgages. During his time at Lloyds Banking Group, Ross helped to shape the new role by suggesting the team carried out further training in order to improve customer service by increasing the amount of general enquires they could deal with.
