Policy designer, legislative advocate/negotiator of Minnesota's Community Solar statute, adopted into law as Minn. Stat. 216b.1641 (2013). Same for the nation's first Electric Vehicle Time-of-Use statute, adopted into law as Minn. Stat. 216b.1614 (2014). Attorney lead on multiple regulatory dockets related to distributed generation, community solar, and renewable energy credits. Statewide policy analyst, report author for U.S. DOE funded Minnesota Solar Challenge (2013):

Three-time appointee. Served as Chair from 2010-2013, leading 18-memer committee tasked with advising the City of Minneapolis on sustainability aspects of its operations and policies. Included policy research, advocacy, and progress around renewable energy adoption, urban agriculture, local food, green jobs, climate change, air quality, transit, bike/walk, water quality, recycling, and composting.

Also served as in-house sustainability analyst (reduced greenhouse gas emissions, paper consumption, energy consumption; energy efficiency, and lighting improvements; increased use of renewable materials and renewable energy; expanded recycling and reduced solid waste, etc.)
