Starting in 2022, assumed a Managing Director position at an offshore fund administrator, as the Head of Operations, at Catalyst Group. After a long career in the financial market and dealing with all type of services provider and projects for investment funds in Brazil and Cayman moved to the other side, to face clients and bring innovation to a great fintech. Rossana is an experienced and diligent professional with over 15 years of experience in the financial market and deep knowledge of the asset management industry, in Brazil, and hedge funds in Cayman and US.Rossana assumed senior executive position, being responsible for operations and compliance matters. These refer to due diligence processes, implementation of all the rules imposed by CVM/PREVIC/SUSEP, fund structuring, cash management, reconciliation of all type of investments, nav calculation, dealing with all the service providers of the funds in Brazil, Cayman and the US: lawyers, auditors, administrators, brokers, banks and software providers.With focus on implementing new technologies and control of new products, designing operational processes, understanding the needs of the portfolio managers to accomplish efficient operations, best practices, and the elements relevant to take care of the integrity of all the operational activities related to the investment management business and safeguard all the investor assets.She developed an important role to understand how to manage operational and reputational risk to build a governance structure, mitigate these risks and was responsible for the Compliance Committee within Bahia Asset (formerly BBM Investimentos).Rossana has analytical and problem resolution aptitudes, and is a dynamic team leader, worked on encouraging and inspiring a staff of 12. She represented Bahia Asset at Anbima Committees and educational events at Brazilian universities.She is a member of the 100 Women in Finance.Back in 1998, prior to the experience at Bahia Group, she worked as an auditor at PWC for 5 years, acquiring an extensive knowledge on the content of financial statements for different industries and developing communication skills with clients.
