• Aerospace States Association (ASA), Executive Director responsible for advancing the aerospace policy agenda in the state governments. • Secured funding a Congressional Continuing Resolution that ensure the federal government honored their funding of a joint project between the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe and the Indian Health Services to develop a much-needed health clinic. It was one of a few included in the CR. • Proposed and secured $1,000,000 in the South Dakota appropriations for the repair of a crucial culvert repair for the Yankton Sioux Tribe.• Proposed and secured $300,000 in state funding for Sinte Gleska University’s NASA Cooperative Agreement Grant to test 3-D additive manufacturing for the Moon-to-Mars program.• Proposed and secured passage, with state funding, and the creation of MMIW (Murdered Missing Indigenous Women) Liaison within the State Attorney General Office • Immediately connected the White House with the Yankton Sioux Tribe (YST) on COVID-19 (First Tribe to have a case in region). I was contacted by the White House team to meet immediately with the YST to implement immediate measures to stop the spread of COVID-19. YST was the first Tribe to report a case.• Successfully Defeated SJR 9 (2018) and SJR 5 (2019)- A bill proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of South Dakota relating to the authorization of games of chance for the City of Yankton.. • Clients, past and present, include the AUVSI, Yankton, Rosebud, Flandreau Santee, Crow Creek, and Oglala Sioux Tribes, NDN Collective, South Dakota Education Equity Coalition, the Coalition for Tribal Economic Sovereignty, the Karuk Tribe Housing Authority, the Copper River Basin Regional Housing Authority, the Yerrington Paiute Tribe Housing Authority, the Southern Plains Indian Housing Association, the AVCP Regional Housing Authority, VisionQuest 20/20, and the Oneida Housing Authority.
