Devised and Implemented full strategic retail rollout for Electronic Cigarette International Group in their bid to bring VIP Shoppes to the United States, initial projections were for 800-1,000 mall locations throughout the country. Negotiated exclusive use for electronic cigarettes with Pyramid who previously hadn’t allowed tobacco use in their centers in over 4 years.Established partnership with asset-based lending institution Big Shoulders Capital, creating an outlet for the company to explore retail, industrial and office real estate in a meaningful capacity.

Organized and directed the restructuring of The Great Atlantic Tea Company’s 345 stores, saving the company in excess of $45M. In addition, raised an additional $10M through a disposition and marketing campaign for 120 leased locations.Directed the lease restructuring program for Jackson Hewitt as part of their Chapter 11 bankruptcy, saving the company nearly $3M in leasehold obligations, in addition to creating and implementing a centralized leasing platform for current and future branch owners.Led the real estate compliance during the merger/acquisition of Steve Nash Fitness and Fitness World by Angelo Gordon and Mark Mastrov, inclusive of personally negotiating landlord lease assignment approval and lease restructuring for all locations.

Coordinated the valuation of more than 600 locations for The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company prior to their acquisition of Pathmark inclusive of advising executives on the financial viability of leases and closures.Led lease renegotiation and subsequent liquidation program for Mervyn’s Department Stores, although obtaining nearly $110M in gross lease savings across 171 locations, the company was forced to liquidate and $30M was personally raised through marketing and conducting a live auction. Led a team of 4 experienced deal makers to restructure all properties for Bally Total Fitness raising over $52M across all properties and allowing the company to be sold.Worked closely with AMF executives to reposition 65 corporate-held leases, while implementing a disposition and marketing program for 55 non-core owned properties raising in excess of $26M for the estate.Managed and Negotiated the full portfolio restructuring campaign on behalf of Bashas’ Supermarkets raising over $65M in leasehold savings, including personally negotiating a $5.2M lease restructuring, netting Hilco one of the largest single asset fees in history. Organized the sales and marketing campaign for 45 liquor licenses as part of the Charlie Brown’s bankruptcy. Sold all licenses, netting the estate nearly $8M in proceeds.

Analyzed and Assisted in the restructuring of all leased properties as part of Angelo Gordon’s acquisition of Crunch Fitness.Directed, Edited and Organized the valuations of over 500 leased and owned properties for Bally Total Fitness.Standardized Hilco Real Estate’s client reporting system and deal analysis tool
