Directed government relations, public policy development and advocacy at the state, federal and local level for nationally recognized hospital, health clinics, research institute for autoimmune disease, and HIV/AIDS. Addressed health care, health reform, research, telehealth, sustainability and business issues such as tax policy, transportation, land use and privacy. Primary organizational representative with Washington legislators, governor and executive branch offices. Collaborated with the Washington State Hospital Association, Washington State Medical Association, Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, other organizations. Conceived and implemented organization’s annual state legislative agenda, achieving more than 80 percent success rate for 20-plus bills in 2018 – 2022 legislative sessions. Preserved $1 million-plus state funding for Bailey-Boushay House HIV/AIDS facility and helped secured more than $1 million in new funding for facility’s new homeless shelter.  Developed and directed federal and state policy agenda and government relations for rural health care organization. Led organization’s advocacy for successful state telehealth legislation in 2015 and 2016; public policy lead for internal implementation of telehealth work.  Initial Public Policy Committee Chair, Washington Health Care Alliance for Climate Change, 2019 – 2022.
