I currently work as a freelance writer and editor. My specialties are music criticism and entertainment features, however I have worked as a copywriter for health and beauty websites, therapy groups and various other organizations. As an editor, I've worked on personal statements, web content, news and liner notes among other sources.

Running daily operations and booking events (concerts, political events, food drives, parties, etc). Duties include managing staff, facilitating rentals, building tours, correspondence with LA City Officials, facilitating financial and goods donations, curating concert / film / entertainment series, grant writing, and much more.

As the Los Angeles Production Manager for events company Ambient Church, I lead pre-production projects, staffing, and facilitation for the operation's concerts in the Los Angeles area. This involves hiring both extremely specialized tradespeople and general assistants, coordination between staff and artists, extensive coordination and site visitations with venues, and leading operations on build / event days. Requirements of the job include knowledge of sound equipment, lighting equipment, projectors, and architectural / electric specifications.

As the Production Coordinator with Bridge Street I was responsible for leading and / or assisting staffing, planning, and facilitating high profile entertainment and political events in the LA area. Talent for events I acted as Production Coordinator on included, but were not limited to, Governor Gavin Newsom, activist / speaker Dolores Huerta, and activist / speaker Angela Davis.

I worked part time as a substitute teacher with Teachers on Reserve serving students age five to eighteen in all subject matters. My specialties in teaching are arts and humanities.

Working directly with Mr. Newman, I oversaw many aspects of his artistic practice and daily life. Job duties included everything from assisting with song writing and composing to sorting fan mail and driving Mr. Newman to his regular appointments. There were many daily tasks that involved corresponding via email, phone and in person with high profile music industry professionals. It was an incredibly valuable opportunity to put my music, writing, organization and communication skills to work while being able to learn about the art of song writing and composing from a true living legend. I left the job in September of 2015 to tour.

My time at Lurssen Mastering began with a summer internship in 2012 after my junior year at Oberlin College. At this position I was responsible for various office tasks including sorting paperwork, dealing clients and doing some basic sound editing. When I returned to Los Angeles after graduation in 2013, I worked as an employee of Lurssen doing editing and helping with the business's written correspondence online and with clients.

From 2009 - 2013 I worked as the summer house manager for The Complex Theaters in Hollywood, CA. My job duties included doing box office for every show, which sometimes amounted to over ten per night, and occasionally selling and preparing concessions.

During my time at Oberlin College I worked as a writer and paid copy editor for the Oberlin Review, Oberlin College and community's largest news publication. I primarily wrote reviews and features for the arts section, but occasionally had articles published on global events and opinions. As a copy writer I editing style and grammar for articles in all sections of the paper.

As a student at Oberlin, I served as Co-Chair of the Modern Music Guild, a student group responsible for booking experimental music on campus. With MMG I brought artists from Europe, South Korea and all over the United States to Oberlin and was solely responsible for organizing a venue, sound equipment, lodging, payment, visas, travel and all other aspects of the performer's visit.
