I was employed to cover maternity leave for this course, providing students with confidence in developing imaginative two-dimensional visual ideas within a professional framework. I oversaw the assessment of the work and guided the students through their final major project and show.

Upon returning to Dorset I worked in-house at a number of agencies on a variety of print and digital projects, most notably Halo Associates, then based in Christchurch.

Here I worked with a number of account managers, developing paid–for–content ideas for clients that included: L’Oreal, Maybelline, Whiska’s, Disney, Knorr and Holden devising features, competitions, special offers, product tie-ins, etc. then pitching them for inclusion in a range of titles including Australian Womens’ Weekly, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan.

Partnering up with two other artists, after setting up a pop-up exhibition in a disused church, I made short films, branded and created artwork for a range of record labels and orchestrated events for BBC Radio 1, BBC Wales, Dazed and Confused Magazine, and the Welsh Music Foundation including live performance, projected video visuals and event promotion.

Here I worked on a number of different television programmes and short film projects whilst finishing my degree at university, including Lucky Bag - a comedy sketch series and Dune, a short film in the 10 x 10 strand.
