Led the combatant command’s planning branch developing, gaining approval for, managing its global contingency plans portfolio. Coordinated the US contribution to the quadrilateral Multilateral Planning Group co-chaired by American, British, Canadian, and French flag officers and the counter Boko Haram working-level coordination meetings with British and French allies resulting in unified action among international allies.

Coordinated with UN Headquarters to reduce peacekeeper fatalities by upgrading the capability and capacity of the mission’s bomb-disposal units from 3 troop contributing countries, optimizing the military and contracted civilian helicopter footprint, and increasing the combat effectiveness of incoming ground units from 8 troop contributing countries via a robust pre-deployment training regimen.

Coordinated and resourced military training for 4400+ West Point cadets. Designed 50+ doctrinally based field training events that built upon lesson learned in the classroom. Implemented strategic change to the summer military training schedule to increase the competitiveness of NCAA Division-1 collegiate athletes and post-graduate scholarship candidates without sacrificing the pre-commissioning standards established by the Department of the Army.

Dupont, Washington, And Kandahar City, Afghanistan

Centrally selected by U.S. Army’s battalion command selection board to command security force assistance capabilities activated in direct support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Generated ten teams capable of advising, training, and assisting Afghan National Security Forces. Deployed and delivered the teams to Southern Afghanistan and assumed mission responsibilities within schedule and resource constraints.

Managed the training, leader development, and administration of over 400 Soldiers assigned to the unit's headquarters. Oversaw the safety and risk management of transportation operations in one of the highest-traffic areas in the United States resulting in zero accidents or mishaps. Assisted in the daily supervision of critical and high-visibility missions ranging from 30 Full Honor Funerals in Arlington National Cemetery to the guard of honor at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Chief operating officer of the U.S. Army's memorial affairs and ceremonial unit in Washington, D.C. Supervised a 75-person staff comprised of military and civilian personnel that coordinated the organization's personnel, operations, supplies and logistics, and communications and public affairs. Revised and updated 40+ unit standard operating procedures that addressed and responded to increased demand on the unit’s capabilities. Instituted an animal health and readiness system of 40+ military working horses to increase the unit’s Full Honor Funeral capability by 50%.
