About Ross C.
I'm a security cooperation/security assistance professional with multiple roles spanning strategy and planning to management, oversight, execution, and assessment. I'm personally drawn to the challenges of Africa and the commitment of our African partners and have gained significant experience on and off the African continent. Military experiences seconded to the United Nations in 2017-2018 plus Balkans operational deployments in the 2000's, Middle East combat deployments in the 2000s and 2010s, and graduate-level instruction of our allies and partners studying at the U.S. Naval War College have further broadened my perspective of challenges, risks, and threats across the globe. Having worked in both State and Defense, I have first-hand understanding of the complementary roles of security cooperation and security assistance. The power of international partnerships and cooperative solutions is the best way to address the threats facing our nation, and I'm of the mind that our security is only achieved when working with like-minded states and international organizations.
