In the 2013-2014 University year, I have been responsible for the design of the UH17 Formula Student chassis along with the manufacture of it. This has involved using CATIA V5-6 R2013 to design the front half of the chassis before analysing it using ANSYS APDL 14.5. Following on from an optimised design, I have then manufactured the chassis using CDS steel tubing and TIG welded it all together using CAD designed jigs to ensure it remains within tolerance.

I also produce all testing plans for the cars to undertake, collate and analyse data and spearhead data driven decisions to maximise performance.My projects on the 2015 Formula Student entrant are to design and manufacture the steel tubular spaceframe chassis, the crash attenuator, the pedal box and the differential. In my current role as a senior ambassador, I am responsible for large groups of student ambassadors on open days and other events throughout the year at the University. On the open days, I organise the ambassadors to take visitors on tours, improving my management skills on every event. I also regularly represent the University at Higher Education Fairs, travelling around the country to give prospective students the possibility to ask me questions about the University but also sell the… Show more In my current role as a senior ambassador, I am responsible for large groups of student ambassadors on open days and other events throughout the year at the University. On the open days, I organise the ambassadors to take visitors on tours, improving my management skills on every event. I also regularly represent the University at Higher Education Fairs, travelling around the country to give prospective students the possibility to ask me questions about the University but also sell the University to them as well. Another key task in my job role as a senior student ambassador is to do student life talks when required. This involves talking to groups of around 300 people about the life at University, how the University can help them when they are studying here and how a degree at the University can help them in their own lives. My job role at Simon Green Motorsport incorporates aiding the building and running of a variety of vehicles. Most recently, we have been running a Ginetta G50 in the British Touring Car supporting Ginetta Supercup, running the driver to a podium finish on his very first outing in the car. We have since undertaken a full nut and bolt rebuild on the car and I ran the car at the first shake down since the rebuild to lap within a second of the fastest cars in the class, with the same inexperienced… Show more My job role at Simon Green Motorsport incorporates aiding the building and running of a variety of vehicles.
