In this role I helped create television commercials. As the last step in the process (before a commercial goes live) I was trusted to create graphics, visual effects, and anything else needed in order to make a great commercial. Tools: Autodesk Flame, Nuke, Nuke Studio, Premiere and After Effects.

As a freelancer I focused on video editing and filming. I worked both in-studio, remotely, and on-site. I was able to turn projects around quickly enough to enable near-time shooting and uploading for live events. I worked on a wide variety of brands and formats, from internal training tools for a pharmaceutical device company, to on-site event videography uploaded daily for an automobile manufacturer.

I identified our current NLE as unsupported and helped the department move to a more modern platform. I helped make decisions with the department head on both regular hardware purchases and a massive rewire of the department. I encouraged staff to find and utilize our training budget and I worked to make inroads to areas of the company that were traditionally less receptive to our methodologies.
