UKBM is an online media outlet spanning the bass music spectrum, dedicated to providing promotional support to music-makers known and new.

We work only with electronic music acts that we feel passionate about. Using our skills and network built from years of experience working within the music industry, we help each act reach their full potential by adding value in many areas including brand and career development, coaching, strategy, show and tour booking representation. During lockdown 1.0 in 2020, we diversified our predominantly live-focused roster and began offering press and marketing campaigns to external clients. Such was the success that the service has become a permanent fixture. Regular Press placements include industry-leading publications such as Mixmag, DJ Mag, XLR8R, UKF, RA + more.

- Deal with live issues that vary from day to day. Issues could be experienced by merchants, clients, third party PSP’s or even our own in house departments. Delivery of resolution always provided in a timely manner whilst keeping all relevant teams updated throughout the entire process.- Checking daily files sent in by PSP’s which consist of funds for their merchants. To ensure that all files have been received and look out for any discrepancy in file value patterns to see if there are any potential issues, and if there are then communicate with the PSP to provide resolution.- Deciphering declined, suspended, rejected & downgraded 3D Secure transactions that our Chargeback and Investigations departments are unable to resolve.- Representing the company and overseeing pilots and grand openings on projects. E.g travelling to Foot Locker in Warrington, who were the first pilot Foot Locker store to have brand new PDQ systems installed after the business joined First Data.- Taking ownership and managing projects for clients, ensuring multiple teams from various companies and countries all stay in consistent communication to provide excellent service and exceptional final product using conference calls, updated action logs and regular emails.- Analyse small to large scale issues and raise Incident Reports to relevant departments to have them resolved where relevant. This report would then be managed to myself to ensure all parties have all information and stay in communication ultimately achieving a rapid resolution with minimal downtime on any service or system involved.- Handling general queries from internal teams and also third party companies such as PSP’s and card schemes, Visa & MasterCard. Solving queries myself immediately or liaising with different teams to provide the answer efficiently.

- Supervision of the team- More advanced and highly successful work to reduce the No Fault Found rate.- Visiting terminal vendors to analyse classification processes.- Working closely with POS Integration/Accreditation on a variety of live issues, pilots and software upgrades.- Visiting Verifone to discuss SHA2 migration and other live issues.- Leader of TRU project – provided on-site support for Hemel Hempstead opening.- POS Tech Representative for AIB alliance.- Leading Smart Guide project.- Training new employees and up-skilling current staff.- Call quality monitoring and constructive feedback to team members.- Analysis of daily call forecasts.- Complaint handling and solution providing.- Conducting interviews for potential new team members.

- Providing detailed technical support for merchants ranging from small companies to corporate accounts.- Extensive knowledge of PDQs across multiple vendors and alliances.- Rewriting and updating KMS, our online library for fault finding and diagnostics.- Being first point of contact for high profile corporate accounts.- Working closely with the Chain Supply Manager to reduce the No Fault Found rate.- Managing amendments across all vendors.- Consistently renewing knowledge of current processes and technology.- Liaising and building rapport with merchants and representatives of all levels.- Providing support for colleagues in more specialist areas.- Arranging Engineer visits for merchants.- Running reports.- Advanced operation of internal database and programs.
