Designed and leads a highly efficient supply chain analytics department for Steward Healthcare a 38 hospital IDN, grew the department from 1 to 8 employees in just over 12 months. Evolved reporting capabilities from text/excel files to utilizing direct database in streaming and dashboarding to present customized end user interfaces. This led to tremendous gains in capacity and throughput of analytic capabilities.Utilize a suite of KPIs to elucidate purchasing patterns and operationalize cost savings initiatives across our hospitals.Key Projects: Collaborated with the VP of SupplyChain to redesign policies and processes regarding data dictionaries, leading to a 100% accuracy rate on new contract implementation.  Architected an in house a real-time virtual on-contract item master, allowing end users to know all items available for purchase at the exact right price. Decreasing the use of miscellaneous codes by over 80%. Designed, built and operationalized a match exception processing tool to audit all incoming invoices against contracted pricing, this lead to Steward Healthcare receiving a $1.85M credit from Cardinal Inc, the largest credit Cardinal Inc has ever issued a client due to over billing. Project managed an item master cleanse leading to improved attributes and categorizations of over 60K items and the elimination of 30K SKUs from the item dictionary. Primary analytics lead on an item master consolidation (6 into 1) to support an acquisition. Over 1.2M records were analyzed for data quality and duplication.
