I am currently employed by Scottish Land & Estates as their Director of Moorland. I am also a warfare officer in the Royal Naval Reserve, specialising in submarine operations. I hold a first class honours degree in Geography from the University of St Andrews and a MSc in Sustainable Mountain Development (with distinction) from the University of the Highlands and Islands’ Centre for Mountain Studies.I am a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR).
