The Robert D. Walter Center for Strategic Leadership is a part of Ohio University dedicated to helping students enhance their education with professional organizations and two of the certificate programs being based out of this office. As I continue to be employed here I find myself growing more and more every day. Two projects that I started with were reaching out to nearly 200 professors to coordinate pitches to students to expose them to the Strategic Leadership and Human Resource Management Certificates. Then on the complete other end of the spectrum, I developed a new inventory tracking system to keep accurate records of our marketing supplies. You can also find me leading the content creation, social media, and recruitment teams in making sure that they have the resources to accomplish whatever goals each team, and the Walter Center decides on.The Robert D. Walter Center for Strategic Leadership has given me such a broad range of experiences in my time there and relationships that I will cherish and I continue to look forward to the new challenges to overcome in the future.

Working as a Global Information Systems intern at Whirlpool I was able to take advantage of many opportunities from learning about SAP, program development, and supply chain processes. My project focused on service part forecasting and through collaboration with Accenture contacts I was able to assist in delivering a new program to provide suppliers with forecasts for drop ship parts.

After going through an extensive selection process the Global Consulting Program offers students the opportunity to travel abroad and work as a Junior Consultant for a local company in whichever country you go.Specifically, I worked for a small startup company called Qfarm, they are focused on developing dairy-based functional food products such as Vitamin K and CoQ10 infused chocolate bars. During my time there, my group and I developed a plan for Qfarm to narrow their ideal target market from anybody with an interest in supplemental health to mothers and elderly with vitamin deficiencies. We also recommended countries within the European Union for Qfarm to expand into.
