After 8 years as a Branch Manager, I am very excited to be taking on the role as Business Development Manager for Linley & Simpson across the 11 branch network in Yorkshire. The aim of the role is to develop business opportunities and promote our services to new and old clients alike. I will be using the knowledge & experience that I have gained over the last 12 years within the company, looking at new ways in which to help Vendors and Landlords make the most from their properties. I will also be meeting with larger corporate clients to explore how our extensive database of Buyers and Tenants can be utilised to gain more sales and tenancies for our mutual benefit.

I am excited to be given the opportunity of managing one of the companies flagship offices. 2014 is going to be an exciting year for me but also for the company as a whole as we finally start doing residential sales. A natural progression, having dominated the lettings market in Yorkshire for the last 16 years, we could no longer think of a viable reason not to give our clients a full property service.

I joined the company as a Lettings negotiator in 2004 at the Roundhay office in Leeds and have worked my way through the ranks, becomming Senior Lettings Negotiator, Lettings Manager, and have been managing the Wakefield branch since it opened in June 2008. The branch went from an unknown to a front runner in the local area in only a short space of time.

First job, in office negotiator. Then started to do viewings, wanted to progress but no positions within the company so looked further afield.
