As a project architect, I ensured that construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning and aesthetic standards. From site preparation to building completion, I oversaw elements of the design and construction processes. Part of this preparation included developing, organizing and reviewing building plans, as well as preparing construction documents for general contractors. I also took part in interviewing and hiring contractors for proposed projects. With clear communication, I helped determine the schedule at different critical stages of the building process according to client needs. During construction site visits, I monitored progress and reviewed whether phases of the construction process are in compliance with building plans and project deadlines. As a project manager, I took on many other roles within the office; technology, office management, and marketing are just a few of the tasks.
