Better Cover is an ancillary business to Better Mortgage, where we focus on providing instant, digital, and competitive insurance quotes to Better borrowers within the process so that we do the shopping for them – making their mortgage journey that much more efficient. My role in operations entails working cross-functionally with our marketing, product, data, and sales teams; focusing on overall growth and customer experience.

Judicial Sector FTDA’s primary objective is to provide aid to those in fear of mortal danger in their country of origin. Through this organization, asylum seekers receive temporary housing and legal support/advice for their ultimate goal of obtaining international protection. Under this sector, I worked with two jurists of whom were in charge of various legal affairs concerning these refugees. With them, I was able to closely follow each personal case that each asylum seeker presented to us. Demographically, refugees varied tremendously with backgrounds of different cultures, races, ethnicities, family size, age and gender. •Conduct extensive research concerning foreign affairs relevant to our daily work•Case by case investigation of incoming asylum seekers•Mock interviews with asylum seekers in preparation of court day before judges•Accompany asylum seekers to court•Provide careful oral/written French-English translations of varying dialects •Precise organization of legal documents•Weekly visitation to temporary housing provided by FTDA for general verification
