Summary: Utilizing my seasoned community engagement expertise and a demonstrated interest in public policy to contribute toward the development of a legislative policy agenda, in support of the Foundation's leadership role in the community and advancing the equity agenda as envisioned and measured through the One Minneapolis Report. I provide support to our three Directors of Impact Strategy and Senior Vice President of Community Impact, serve as a program officer on select key drivers, and as needed to donors by offering insight into focus areas. I am responsible for bringing capacity building opportunities to our grantees and finding creative ways to connect donors to the community. All in all, I make sure things don’t fall between the cracks.• Drive and develop an equity focused public policy/legislative menu and portfolio on behalf of and in collaboration with community partners.• Coordinate and Advance The Minneapolis Foundation’s People of Color Power Building Initiative. Including Roy Wilkins Fellows, Voices for Racial Justice, and other organizations.• Prepare funding requests to national foundations on key leverage areas such as immigration and civic engagement.

Purpose: to enhance the mission and ministry of the Sanctuary Covenant Church by providing leadership and support to a multi-ethnic group of believers who minister weekly in worship styles that will seek to meet the needs of an urban church community. • Work with Senior Pastor to carry out a common philosophy of worship that includes and goes beyond the Sunday experience• Coordinates and facilitates the Sunday Worship Experience, as well as other worship gatherings• Meet regularly with supervisor for prayer, planning and accountability• Oversee worship leaders and singers (including any special guest artists)• Oversee musicians
