About Ross Joel

I am the retired CEO of BroadcastMed, one of largest digital healthcare media companies in the US. Currently, I serve as an M & A Consultant for lower middle market companies, as well as a Board Member and Entrepreneurial Advisor for early-stage founders. My strength is providing insights to business owners who are contemplating the sale of their businesses. Having failed twice and ultimately succeeded in selling my business, I am uniquely able to advise on “the good, the bad and the ugly” when it comes to trying to sell a business. I started BroadcastMed out of a spare bedroom in 1994 before selling to private equity in December 2020. In my 30 years leading BroadcastMed, the Company grew to $80 Million in sales, 300+ employees, and I was involved in 5 acquisitions. Beyond my work with mature companies, I am also excited to invest my expertise and experience in guiding aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage founders as they embark on the journey that I took in my career. I do not have all the answers for entrepreneurs, but I do know most of the questions and where to find the answers. I am enthusiastic about helping entrepreneurs grow their ideas into thriving businesses. I am available remotely.
