As a laborer at Hogan and Associates I have been involved in multiple projects. My day to day varies but I assist the apprentice and journeyman carpenters with tasks and projects. My primary duties as a Drain Technician were diagnosing stoppages in drain systems, and performing the necessary tasks to clear those stoppages. A heavy emphasis was placed on customer service, as that is the biggest part of what the job entailed. Daily tasks included the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, among others. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed.

My day to day varied greatly and I was assigned to the support team on the 2022 USCF project and reported directly to the General Superintendent.My team assisted various crews; especially with logistics tasks such as moving materials, traffic control, building signs, and water truck and fork lift operation as necessary. I worked with a Water Truck, Bobcat 550, Kawasaki Mule and Laymor Road Sweeper ,JLG Telehandler(Fork Lift). Depending on the task for the day I utilized both hand and power tools, selecting the appropriate one for the application. My team was also primarily responsible for moving key assests such as dumpters and restrooms across the site to ensure the site maintains cleanliness and OSHA requirements.
