Sports has impacted my life and helped me decide to pursue a career in sports journalism. I played most sports growing up and try to follow every sport very closely as I feel sports are an integral part of my daily life. I strive for success and ultimately perfection -- if I do not succeed I take it upon myself to learn from mistakes and improve to accomplish my goals. I gained great experience as an account payable assistant at Dale Pro Audio, learning to enter important information that can afford no mistake. My passion is something that drives me. I am very passionate about sports and with the right opportunity I know I can be very productive doing what I love, whether it be as a stat analyst or a reporter. I am a hard worker with a positive attitude, which will help me be successful. My goal is to impact the sports world and I won't stop until I do. I want the responsibility of telling sports stories to the fans and giving them a new perspective. So many people -- some journalists, others "super-fans" -- share scores and stories but the ones that are unique and shed light on something new are the stories I want to tell. My studies as a journalist help me understand the correct ways to articulate important news and information to an audience. As I continue to gain more experience and hone my skills, I am confident in my ability to deliver and make a lasting change on the sports news industry.
