Participated in a red-team for a high profile transformer failure on the AN/TPY-2 radar system. Coordinated external subject matter experts to help in the root cause and corrective action activities. Made recommendations to the contractor (that were used) with regards to on-site sparing and new procedures for removal/replacement of the transformer to mitigate the risk of radar downtime during the 1-2 year period needed to redesign a replacement transformer.

Provided critical spares support for battle damaged systems in Afghanistan.
