Assessed Raytheon's technical compliance with the requirements of the contract. Documented surveillance efforts, performed periodic audits of Raytheon Engineering and provided reports to the appropriate program management office and DCMA management. Participated in a red-team for a high profile transformer failure on the AN/TPY-2 radar system. Coordinated external subject matter experts to help in the root cause and corrective action activities. Made recommendations to the contractor (that were used) with regards to on-site sparing and new procedures for removal/replacement of the transformer to mitigate the risk of radar downtime during the 1-2 year period needed to redesign a replacement transformer. -

Provided critical spares support for battle damaged systems in Afghanistan.
