I’m currently a Backend Engineer with Curve, primarily contributing to their Golang microservices and leading on their Thought Machine Vault Core implementation.• Within 3 months all reported bugs with their Smart Contract were fixed and Curve were able to re-launch their credit card product that failed to launch a year earlier due to those bugs.• Optimised their Smart contract code to speed up the contract execution x100 for their most problematic accounts.• Frequently use the SQL experience I gained while I was Data Engineer, to help the data team optimise their downstream services including Google Bigquery.• Gained a lot of experience in building Golang microservices, fixing bugs, sync [gRPC] and async [kafka] messaging, adding metrics, deploying to kubernetes etc, • Increased throughput of the credit card’s auto-repayment flows which in turn improved the stability of the process.
