I develop behavior plans, crisis intervention, conduct administrative conferences and participate in other daily meetings with the principal. * Create behavior modification plans for special education students.* Provide staff development in the areas of proactive behavior management, for special education students.* Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.* Initiated group counseling and a parenting skills development program.

Conducted crises counseling and managed a referral office providing coordinated services. Worked with the Office of Community Services to provide quality based outcome services in conjunction with the 39th District Court, Families In Need of Services (FINS), local school board affiliates, and the Office of Youth Development. Provided leadership to a family and youth support program within the Red River Parish School Board. * Opened an outreach program under a grant and independent of the school board. Established program to continue working with the children within the parish and to manage crisis situations.

Provided adolescent pre-screening and assessment; managed a community interaction program at this hospital employing 20+ professionals and serving up to 50 juveniles. Coordinated and conducted individual, group, and family counseling for psychiatric rehabilitation aftercare referrals. Developed charting procedures for employees and clients; supervised employee training. Worked with staff psychiatrists to implement and monitor medications and treatment plans. Spearheaded marketing and public relations initiatives in the Red River Parish geographic area. * Implemented and coordinated a number of family services grants parish-wide, including crisis intervention services and alternative school counseling program in conjunction with the juvenile court system and the Families in Need of Service (FINS) Committee to promote positive behavioral intervention for families and adolescents.* Managed an outreach office providing awareness of care services to a community in need of mental health and mental illness education.
