The total value handled by myself sat between £600,000 and £800,000 for the 8 months of taking this role. This suits me quite well as I often make it a full end to end discussion on understanding and proposing projects, a variety allows me to ensure each blends together and suits the clients need across possible unseen benefits.Whilst I handle these budgets and investigate where to use it most effectively, I also offer different feasibility plans for the coming years for BARD where and when I can so I make time to attend company committee meetings and start discussions personally around this. A lot of my time was spent preventing these issues and ensuring good project flow within the manufacturing process, but of course I am the one who steps up when pushes and issues do come up.This includes telling some projects "no" in order to favour much more critical fixes and requirements that is deemed more urgent in the company's eyes. I have to always maintain an outlook on the bigger picture for what Marshall's needed. Knowing what stage each project was at, what promises were made to the client, what costs we were at risk of are just some of the things I had to think about when placing just one item on the line in front of another or changing what a welders task was for the day.I was there for the company but also for the team. As much as knowledge was required for my role, my social skills needed to be unrivalled as a mediator. Juggling these with the callers and maintaining agreements with the contract holders was a must as we were the liaison on all fronts. Any breach in contract, data or care could cost the contract or create a charge to the company, I saw many staff be "let go" for these reasons.This was, what I would say, a "high stress" job, as all work handled was just as urgent and just as expensive as the next. When it wasn't related to the handling and organization of the engineers and data centre sites across the seas, it was handling members of the public who were calling due to not agreeing with placement of road works or how they were being handled.This role was day shift to night shift system, rotating every X days, with each shift consisting of 12.5 hours. I enjoyed carrying this out but due to the location being an hours travel, I looked to leave within 6 months to get some control back on my time. Show less

The Union is a place of controversy as it is the house of free speech so we invite people to come in and discuss why they think a certain way. This has created a few protests either in anger of what the guest has said or who the guest is. This is something I simply had to work through whilst I represented the bar and it helped me see a side of public relations I would likely never see in any other role to such an extent. Show less

This admin role took place directly inside the labs of histopathology which provided I cover good lab practice and chemical reaction control measures.I was a link in the chain checking cases (flesh specimens and medical documents relating) and allocating those cases to specified Doctors. I managed their workload, the last check of the document accuracy, the document control as well as chasing for completion of previous and expected cases.
