Primarily responsible for writing historically informed and accurate copy, as well as revising and reviewing copy written by other team members.Served as primary curator and project coordinator for "To Serve Better Thy Country," a public exhibition that detailed Harvard's centuries-long relationship with the United States military. Duties included conceptualizing the exhibition, researching items, coordinating research from other team members, making final selections of items (with an eye to both historical importance and visual appeal), writing label copy, and installing and maintaining items in exhibit cases.

Responsibilities included leading weekly discussion sections with two groups of undergraduates, guiding them in approaching food from a historical viewpoint, and aiding them in writing critical, historical essays.

During the summers of 2013, 2014, and 2015 I taught, with Joyce Chaplin, an intellectual history course at the Harvard-Ca' Foscari Summer School in Venice. I helped conceive, design, and teach "Nature: A History of Western Ethics Defined with Nature in Mind," which focused on ethical understandings of the natural world from pre-history to the present.In addition to leading discussion and grading papers, I worked closely with dozens of Italian students to improve their written English in an academic context.

Assisted Anne Makepeace, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, with various aspects of the production of a film on Native American language revitalization. "We Still Live Here - Âs Nutayuneân" debuted on PBS in 2011. I provided historical research assistance, mostly focused on analysis of maps of colonial New England. I also transcribed interviews and did some minor grip work during shooting. I was responsible for maintaining the company website as well, including the eCommerce portion.In addition to working on the film, I worked with Anne and another colleague to secure a $50,000 grant from the Independent Television Service and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to create and maintain a website that complemented the film ("Our Mother Tongues" http://ourmothertongues.org/)
