Hailing from Scotland, my passion for business started when working as an event promoter selling tickets to passers-by on the streets of Edinburgh during the Festival Fringe, the biggest performance arts festival in the world. My sales strategy involved asking people if they wouldn't mind holding 'this' for a second, before handing them a flyer for the event I was selling tickets to. I allowed them to keep a hold of it, of course! A student at the time, this is when I caught the work bug and began enjoying the hustle.My entrepreneurial family have also imparted invaluable lessons; passing on their business acumen to me, teaching me the essence of building relationships, maintaining a customer-centric approach, overcoming objections and, most importantly, spreading joy through meaningful connections.After graduation, armed with an English Lit, Film & Media honors degree from the University of Stirling, I embarked on a career dedicated to helping businesses and individuals develop and shine. In my current venture, as a passionate Videographer at the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, I leverage my video content creation skills and knowledge to help local agribusinesses grow, engaging consumers through effective and innovative content marketing solutions. I enjoy collaborating with my team to tell compelling stories and execute customized campaigns that meet clients' value-driven goals. As a techie, I am always learning new trends and tech in the marketing field and applying them to my work. My daily mission is to help the Fresh From Florida promotional program continue to thrive and prosper through premium content production, boosting its image and increasing sales of Florida agriculture by helping consumers easily identify Florida-grown and -produced agricultural products.I am based in Florida's Panhandle with my wife Brooke and our 3-year-old Golden Retriever, Sunny.
