It delivers on the NSW Government’s objectives to improve customer experience, improve government services, lift digital transactional volumes, make NSW the easiest state to start a business and to continue to grow the economy. Target 710,000 small businesses, $410 billion revenues, $1.5 million employed staff.The program has delivered a new and innovative digital platform called the Business Navigator and Business Concierge service targeted at supporting and guiding entrepreneurs to transact with multiple agencies across 3 levels of government using a single "Business Navigator" web platform. Per industry sub sector this platform replaces up to 13 or more existing websites , more than 48 forms and 75 plus regulations. (95 sub sectors relevant to small business).The result. One Portal, one number to call, one customer experience and in the example case of opening a cafe, small bar or restaurant has reduced the time to open a business from 18 months to less than 90 days.Next stage work includes the roll out of Business Navigator 2.0 platform, the on boarding of 121 NSW councils, integrated payments platform and enhanced digital identity for cross agency government transactions and "tell government once" initiatives.

New end-to-end forensic and law enforcement system for 20,000 NSW Police.Tasked with leading a team to develop, test and deploy an enterprise level, thin client application for recording, tracking and management of crime scene exhibits and forensic analysis jobs for 20,000 operational police and 900 forensics staff. This system replaces paper-based processes and tracks the lifecycle of exhibit items such as drugs, weapons, fingerprinted items and DNA samples collected from crime scene. Includes item recording, transfer, forensic analysis, audit and eventual court approved disposal. The system is used to manage tasks, resources, associated end-to-end workflow processes and the dissemination of all forensic results and identifications to NSW Police Investigators. These 104 sites were situated in metropolitan, regional and remote NSW. Total project duration of 61 workdays inclusive of planning, procurement of hardware and services, design, implementation and transition to full operation.Achievement: 100% of business outcomes. Under budget by some $1.7 million and delivered with 4 days to spare. Annual recurrent savings $2.85 million.
