Leading on Fife Council's approach to tackling the Climate Emergency.Duties include:Management of the Climate Change & Zero Waste Team within Planning Services, Fife Council.Programme management for Fife's Addressing the Climate Emergency Board.Management of the Fife Environmental Partnership.

Providing environmental consultancy services to the public and private sector.

Role includes:• Managing delivery of carbon auditing services to ensure compliance with environmental objectives and targets. Including interviewing of staff and management, site visits and process analysis • Delivering quality environmental information support systems, including integration of Carbon into Accounting system, Impact Assessment and Carbon Footprint analysis• Environmental strategy and policy development, assessment of corporate policy, including undertaking Strategic Environmental Assessment• Ensuring Fife Council compliance with ‘CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme’, including Evidence Pack development and auditing, reporting compliance• Development and provision of training courses and tools for carbon management• Management of the Sustainability Performance & Audit unit

Role included:• Development and implementation of environmental policy and strategy• Production of organisational Carbon Footprints and analysis• State of the Environment Report for Community Plan partnership• Management of Fife Environmental Recording network

Provision of award winning quality environmental information service to businesses and individuals. Duties include:• Data management and analysis• Environmental Impact surveying

Consultancy providing biological recording and information management services, including the establishment of a ‘Biological Records Centre’ in both Scottish Borders and Central Scotland. Including business plan development and securing of funding.

Provision of public museum services, including information managent, development of display and education resources.

Information support for preparation of application for international designation of nature conservation sites. Including data collation and analysis, site survey and report.
