I am passionate about delivering value, building trust, and fostering collaboration across teams and regions.New Relic is one of the leading players in the Observability market providing insight on the running of their entire IT estate for some of the worlds largest clients working with the latest technologies infused with AI capability. What is interesting in this role is we work on a consumption based model, meaning we need to continually work with our clients to ensure they draw down the funds and continue to expand whilst minimizing churn. Currently I manage a team of both managers and Individual contributors across EMEA. The role involves running both the pre sale and post sale functions whilst also getting hands on where needed. From a day to day perspective I am involved with working with some of the largest clients on their observability strategy, deploying resources to help support the sales team in achieving their targets. I work alongside my commercial counterpart in the region to ensure close working relationships between the sales and technical functions in addition to interacting across multiple functions in the business from product management, engineering, marketing and the channel. On a personal note my main interest outside of work is racing in the BMW Saloon Car Championship. Motorsport is something i have been involved in since the age of 7 and have competed in multiple national championships throughout the UK.

Presenting and being involved in the whole process of the project lifecycle meant that I gained experience in dealing with a variety of clients. The consulting side of the role involved onsite visits analysing existing systems and architecture. Following the analysis, I would develop / manage and implement custom-built applications, specialising in document management, asset management and planned maintenance software for the construction industry. I also gained experience in developing/managing both accounting and internal management systems.Throughout the development side of the role I manage document coordinators, graphic designers and maintained ongoing relationships with the clients. One of the most important software applications I developed was the @sbilt product range, which was adopted in-house as well as selling the solution to a number of large construction companies. These applications allowed dynamic document management systems to be created by non-IT personnel, whilst also offering a number of other features. This application has been adopted by organisations, such as the Department Of Work And Pensions and the Ministry Of Defense. When time is allocated I developed and maintained the internal web based invoicing system. I was responsible for the complete technical re-design. This involved working with the financial director and office manager in helping to develop this application for KPSL's specific needs.
