About Ross Thurlow Obe

Of my 34 years in the British Army, I have spent the last 10 living in 4 different countries working in a multicultural / multinational organisation across strategic and tactical levels. This has involved leading diverse teams, often in a resource poor environment and recently in politically sensitive situations, and has covered everything from capability development, to training, to support to military operations. This has been achieved through maintenance of focus on the end product, an honest and open approach with peers and superiors, highlighting where issues are and how they may be resolved, and provision of unquestioning support to staff to enable them to reach their potential. In the near future, I am looking to move into arenas where I can focus my efforts on to helping others less fortunate than me. Keen to find out where I would fit in and provide added value.Outside of work, I am an avid windsurfer and mountain biker who also enjoys small Theatres and a pint of Real Ale!
