About Ross (Jo-Szu) Tsai

My primary research interest is understanding the ecology of vertebrates and plant communities and applying this knowledge to develop strategies which can directly inform management and conservation. I am interested in evaluating the association between landscape pattern and avian community structure and distribution in the larger-scale context, and investigating how agriculture, disturbance, and fragmentation influence fitness of individuals and trajectories of wildlife and plant populations.Specialties: Avian Ecology, Geographic Information Systems, Landscape Ecology, Occupancy Modeling, Ornithology, Raptor Conservation, Watershed Hydrology, Wetland Ecology, Wildlife Conservation, Wildlife Ecology And Management

Fish and Wildlife Service goals to management Golden Eagles in context of wind energy.
