After meeting the client(s) & establishing their experience & riding background, a discussion will agree their "needs"​ for the session(s) & their objectives. There will be some theory input & following that, the rest of the session(s) will be spent on some fantastic roads.The session(s) could cover "the system of Police Riding", attitudes, observation, hazard awareness, speed, braking techniques, slow riding, correct use of gears, overtaking / filtering & safety equipment to name but a… Show more After meeting the client(s) & establishing their experience & riding background, a discussion will agree their "needs"​ for the session(s) & their objectives. Together with 2 colleagues who also volunteer their time, I facilitate the Biker Down! workshops within Gloucestershire. Again we are in partnership with SkillZONE, Tuffley Lane, Gloucester, a fantastic venue, using a classroom and the “village” area. The workshop comprises of 3 modules, lasting about 3 to 3.5 hours on a Friday evening, once a month during the main m/cycle season. I facilitate the BikeSafe workshops within Gloucestershire, we are in partnership with GFRS at SkillZONE, Tuffley Lane, Gloucester who kindly allow us to use their excellent venue on the day. Currently BikeSafe is again assisted by Police Service Volunteers (PSV’s), who as part of the BikeSafe Team, join with our uniformed motorcycle colleagues from Traffic & conduct the on road assessments.
