As an Operations Manager, I lead a team of account managers and GNSS engineers to meet client’s commercial and operational requirements. As I develop an in depth knowledge of DGNSS systems, I started to get involve in product development, technical support and training. I was a pioneer in a startup team to set up and maintain a GNSS workshop and establish a day to day operations process. My job includes:- Workshop testing and preparation of equipment for mobilisation- Installation and troubleshooting of navigation equipment on vessels- Testing out new products and services for site acceptance- Providing 24hr Technical Support to clients via telephone and emails- Set up an inventory movement system for equipment and assets- Raise requisition for all equipment, consumables and spares for mobilisations- Preparation of paperwork for shipment/delivery- Implement a process for workshop tests and operations, for ISO 9001 certification

I started my career as a Systems Engineer for Thales Geosolutions Singapore. My primary role is to:- Perform workshop testing and preparation of Navigation & Underwater systems for survey projects- Maintain & repair all navigation & underwater hardware.- Install and interface of survey equipment on rigs, barges and seismic vessels. These includes surface navigation such as GNSS and telemetry systems. Underwater systems include equipment such as echo sounders, USBLs and side scan systems.I was also deployed offshore as a survey engineer to support construction, site survey, diving and ROV projects all over Asia Pacific.

Criminal Investigation Department (Cid)

I served my National Service as a Police Inspector in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). I was a Staff Officer to Head Manpower, Admin & Logistics. It was an amazing experience to be able to be part of a committee, planning the relocation of 12 police departments involving more than 500 officers to a 25 storey Cantonment Complex. Apart from that, I had to collate and report monthly crime records from various specialised crime departments to the Deputy Director. I also coordinated the annual crime exhibition event organised by the Singapore Police Force.
