Creating GPS and tracking IoT solutions.Actually, I’m not a Customer Service Team Lead:)I’m a member of the R&D team, and that… is a world of its own.I like to describe it this way: “I do everything (well, almost everything) that isn’t directly related to development.” Although, I do engage in some form of development as well, like writing simple scripts to automate workflows.What I do:- Lead the Customer Service team for the GPS-Trace SaaS product (both B2C and B2B):- Customer Service covers: Support, BizDev, and Product Marketing specialists.- Strategic planning of departmental tasks.- Gathering and analyzing product statistics.- Researching and evaluating new directions and potential areas for the product.- Communicating with dealers and manufacturers of GPS hardware.- Supporting product partners (clients).- Collaborating with product marketing partners.- Collecting and analyzing feedback and requirements from partners and users.- Defining development tasks.- Testing and validating functionalities.- Managing the product's social media, launching ad campaigns, and creating marketing materials.- Writing and publishing articles on new features, updates, planned work, etc.- Working on SEO for gps-trace.com and gurtam.space, including content and translations.- Managing other platforms (Google, Apple, etc.), including app releases, responding to reviews, liaising with technical support, etc.- Collecting and analyzing product statistics.- Presenting at exhibitions and meetups as a host and speaker.- Building an AI knowledge base.- And much more, such as invoicing partners, monitoring payments to contractors, assigning tasks to in-house legal teams, and ensuring legal documents are ready for production.In general, the range of tasks for any R&D team is quite broad, and the work often feels like a continuous hackathon. Research, analysis, testing, development, release, and support – all while adhering to certain unbreakable R&D patterns.
