LegiSchool's mission is to engage California’s high school students in matters of public policy and state government by creating opportunities for students and state leaders to meet and share ideas on issues affecting Californians. In doing so, we hope to motivate young people to take an interest in the public life around them and to encourage their active participation in our political process.

The Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship Program, founded in 1957, is one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious fellowship programs. The program offers aspiring public servants of backgrounds and experiences the unique opportunity to directly participate in the legislative process and shape public policy.

University Advancement works with faculty and staff across campus and with alumni and communities across the country to fund important projects and initiatives at Sacramento State — from improving access to higher education to building centers for innovation.

Institutional Research, Effectiveness, & Planning's mission is to enhance University effectiveness with information and research to support planning and budgeting, assessment, accreditation, policy formation, and decision making.
