• Interview, recruit, build, direct and train a team of automation engineers and technicians, to support production and continuous improvement in all robotic, automation and secondary operations equipment.• Overall responsibility for all assembly and automation equipment (Assembly fixtures, assembly machines, automation systems and robotic cells,) in the plant: o Defining needs and writing specs for new automation. o Getting acquainted with the equipment before it enters the plant- understanding its functions and structure, control logic and programs, specs and expected performance. o Preparing infrastructure for incoming equipment. o Receiving new automation equipment into the plant, commissioning into regular production- acceptance tests, setup, run-off, operator training and certification. o Regular preventive and breakdown maintenance and adjustments. o Spare parts management for automation equipment. o Equipment modification and improvement for better performance according to lessons learned during production.• Designing and building simple End-of-Arm-Tooling for the IMM robots as required.• Constant communications with HQ automation team for performance feedback, design support and improvement suggestions.• Programming improvements and touch-ups for six axis robots as needed.• Training technical team members in all aspects of robotics (mechanical, electrical and programming), and other technical subjects such as pneumatics, sensors technology and material joining. • Defining and writing department procedures and documentation.

• Responsible for all industrial automation and secondary operations equipment in the company’s global production plants and subcontractors’ facilities.• Managing a team of Automation Engineers, Mechanical Designers and Controls Engineers in the design of sophisticated automation equipment and systems, and in leading outsourced projects in front of global suppliers/integrators.• Responsible for estimating budget and defining technical solutions for all automation requirements.• Responsible for keeping the projects in budget, within timeline, and to defined performance and quality.• Performing 3D dynamic simulations for robotic systems to estimate cycle-time and prove feasibility of suggested solutions, and to be used as marketing tools in front of customers.• Technical authority in all aspects of automation for the company’s global network.• Training team members in all aspects of robotics (mechanical, electrical and programming).• Responsible for troubleshooting critical issues with the equipment globally.

• Directing and supervising all aspects of engineering for the company, including conceptual design and characterization of industrial robotic systems, mechanical, electrical, system architecture, software and safety, all according to customers' requirements and process limitations. • Preparing all technical specifications and quotes. • Simulating all systems using FANUC SimPro/RoboGuide simulation software. • Presenting the designed concepts and systems to the customers. • Managing all projects: operations, resources, timetables, coordination between company departments and installation. • In charge of service, maintenance and repair for FANUC robots throughout Israel, including all communications with FANUC Robotics America, tech support and spare parts. • Giving technical support and training to customers, designing and instructing courses in robotics. • In charge for setup and administration of the company's website.
