• Acted in a supervisory role to junior assistants for a summer field mapping project.
• Responsible for collecting, recording, and interpreting geologic data in the field accurately and report all findings to the lead geologist at the end of the day.
• Interpreted geologic structures in the field based on GIS data and decided which areas required further investigation based on topography and geomorphology.
• Responsible for the Health and Safety of my crew while in the wilderness, often in remote areas with limited access to emergency services.
• Gained experience using ArcGIS in the field as well as recording data with a Trimble and Notebook.

• Worked as a member of a Quaternary mapping project along the highway 11 corridor of northern Ontario between Iroquois Falls and Hearst.
• Worked with a small geological survey crew, field mapping the first meter of subsurface material with the goal of updating the Quaternary maps of the region.
• Gained experience identifying and sampling tills to gain further insight into the geologic past of the area and identify the mineralogical structure of the material held in the tills.
• Collected field soil samples throughout the map area to determine the chemical composition of the soil horizon to gauge agricultural potential.
• Investigated sedimentary and glacial structures in the field, correlated them with the processes which formed them, and learned how to interpret this information to develop an overall picture of the geologic past of.

• Operated highly specialized equipment for use on Oil and Gas wells including fluid pumps, N2 pumps, and Labs units common in hydraulic fracturing operations.
• Maintained the equipment both on site and in a shop to ensure smooth operations.
