Responsible for buying and merchandising for over $2.0B in retail sales for 3200 outlets, including Sears, Kmart, Dealer stores, Hardware Stores, and E-Commerce for Power, non Power Lawn and Garden including Green goods, yard supplies and fertilizer and insecticides. Managed an organization of 1 DMM, 1 Merchandise manager, 7 buyers and 8 associate buyers, with non-reporting responsibility for the marketing and inventory management teams in support of the business. Direct accountability for the business P&L through driving margin dollars and managing all controllable expenses, including, marketing, financing, payroll, and warranty expenses. Responsible for establishing long-range and short range business strategies and goals,directed the purchase, price and mix of merchandise and research new product and business growth opportunities. Collaborated with brand and product development in creating features and assortment for the proprietary brand of Craftsman tools.

VP /GMM Lawn and Garden, Fitness and Game Room, and Seasonal 2003-2005Sears and Kmart merged in 2004, in 2005 the Company re-organized the merchandising responsibility around merchandise focused categories for all outlets now including Kmart. During this period, I was responsible for buying and merchandising for 1800 outlets, for sears formats only, Full-line stores, Dealer stores, Hardware stores and E-Commerce for Power and non-Power Lawn and Garden, Outdoor Living and Grills, Fitness, Game Room, and Christmas.Managed over $2.6B in retail sales with an organization consisting of 1DMM, 1 Merchandise Manager, 6 buyers and 6 associate buyers.
