Ian is a Senior Transportation Engineer with over 12 years of consulting experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering and design. His experience spreads across a range of consulting services including active transportation plans, transportation master plans, highway corridor studies, traffic operation and road safety reviews, traffic capacity modeling, parking strategies, business case development, grant funding preparation, and community engagement and facilitation. Ian's experience includes working with local and provincial governments, and Indigenous Communities throughout BC.Ian is a certified Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC. Ian volunteers in many areas of his professional and personal life. He sits on the Board for the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers (CITE), serves on the CITE Training Committee. Ian previously volunteered as a cycle instructor with the YMCA. Ian is passionate about developing sustainable transport solutions that combine safety, and personal wellness into our everyday lives that contribute to building vibrant communities.
