About Rothmonyta Long

Since I was young, I am passionate about computer, coding, and math. I love working on critical and creative problems. In addition, I always want to become a woman software engineer, which is a crucial role model and motivation for other girls and next generation to be brave to pursue their dreams in STEM and engineering fields. I see that exploring new horizon and connecting with new people are the essential opportunities for me to grow and develop simultaneously. I use LinkedIn to find job, internship, and other opportunities to be a part of society development on the journey as a computer science student. I spent my first two years at Seattle Central College in major computer science, and I also got a job as a math and computer science tutor there. Nearly the end of the second year at Seattle Central College, I was invited to join Honor Society , Phi Theta Kappa, and also a member of a computer science research team. After that , I applied to University of Massachusetts, Lowell to pursue my bachelor's degree in computer science, and I was awarded international scholarship.
