After winning several fried chicken competitions in London with our Venezuelan food concept, we decided to start up El Pollote - Latino fried chicken.

PETARE is a casual food concept specialised in Venezuelan Street Food, where I am originally from. Our signature dish is the “Arepa”, a traditional cornbread that is stuffed with family recipes such as slow cooked shredded beef, chicken avocado, fried plantain and refried black beans, among others.

Tequeños are so versatile that can be filled with almost anything, sweet and savoury.Sold approximately 4,000 units within the first 3 months of trading as wholesaler.

My first experience as an entrepreneur was Yakambu.com, which I founded in 2007 in Venezuela. This was an online entertainment magazine specialised in covering, reviewing and organising events in the city of La Guaira, Venezuela. Yakambu.com successfully obtained commercial sponsorships from several organisations and held 6 major events in a period of 3 years.
