August 2011 to December 2011Project: 100 MW Ubungo Gas Turbine Power Plant (Tanzania)The lead process engineer resigned during the final stages of design. I took over the responsibilities which included technical and vendor coordination, and the verification/development of the final design package. February 2010 to July 2011SDE was acquired by POWER in January 2010. I moved to the head office in Idaho for training on geothermal power plants. I was trained on process modeling software Aspen HYSYS® (used to model the geothermal cycles). During the training I was responsible for creating/optimising process models for different geothermal resources. I worked with senior process engineers to determine the cycle and technology best suited to the resource. The resource conditions and the design constrains (100% reinjection of resource fluid, availability of water, ambient conditions, etc.) were evaluated during the optimisation process. Show less
