With a varied career that spans over 20 years in both the private and public sectors, Rouhan Coutinho has been the driving force behind developing and executing a bold new vision for some of North America’s most innovative organizations. Coutinho has been especially drawn to groundbreaking opportunities that have a clear mandate and a committed team of strong decision-makers. For the last 13 years, Coutinho has been managing partner of nD Insight, a quantitative strategy consultancy working with large Canadian and global brands, such as Bayshore, Amgen, Manulife, CISCO, Dräger, Becton Dickinson, Allstream and the Government of Bermuda. Coutinho grew the business from five to 47 employees and $5 million in revenue. He was also able to solicit three offers and successfully sell the company’s largest division in operations strategy in 2011.Prior to nD-Insight, Coutinho worked for almost 13 years in a variety of evidence-based strategy and operations management positions across the private and public sectors. In particular, he led large turnaround projects in the US Midwest, public health vaccination programs in Canada and helped grow a mid-size chemicals company.Coutinho has an Honours BA specializing in economics and econometrics from the University of Western Ontario, and combined that training with extensive training in computer science and graduate econometric work. He also has a Master of Health Science in Health Administration from the University of Toronto, what people consider a cross between an MBA and MPH. He divides his time between residences in Vancouver and Toronto.
