CNS offers flexible business and technological solutions for a dynamically-changing urban mobility scene. The company manages one of the biggest smart city projects in Bulgaria - Integrated automated fare collection and video surveillance system for public transport in Sofia. From September 2018 to June 2019 as an Interim COO | Project Director of CNS STS Consortium managed the program setup, initiation, and successful completion of first 2 project phase: (1) As-Is Analysis of existing 2 AFC systems in overground and underground transport (2) To-Be Design of the new Sofia Ticketing System, which will serve as common base for further smart city and mobility-as-service integrations.

American Bank of Investments (ABI) in Albania is a portfolio company of NCH Capital Inc., one of the largest American investors in Eastern Europe with over 3 billion USD under management. In July 2019 ABI acquired the Albanian subsidiary of National Bank of Greece (NBG AL) and initiated an IT Separation, Migration, and Merger Program, aimed to separate the NBG AL customer and product data from the centralized NBG Temenos T24 | SAP environment in NBG Data Center in Athens, and to migrate and merge them with the ABI's iFlex FlexCube environment in ABI Data Center in Tirana. As an external Advisor to the ABI Management in the frame of an Advisory Service Agreement with Sirma Business Consulting, from July 2018 to April 2019 I managed the preparation, alignment, and approval of IT Separation and Merger Plan and setup of 4 program streams - (1) CBS Migration (2) Migration of SAP FI, CRM, and BW (3) IT Infrastructure (AD, MS Exchange, etc.) (4) Other IT system migration - SWIFT, Legal, Collection, etc. Supervised the project streams and advised the ABI management during the project stages, several mocks and rehearsals, and final cut-off and go-live. The IT Separation, Migration, and Merger Program was successfully completed at the end of April 2019 and now the ABI and NBG AL are running their unified operations under the ABI merged infrastructure.

Econt Express is a leading SEE courier, exclusive partner of H&M e-commerce (www.hm.com) and eMAG e-shop (www.emag.ro) with 560 local offices and 18 regional transition centers. In 2016 initiated a comprehensive enterprise transformation program to digitalize its business model and replace its legacy ERP software. My key role as an Enterprise Business Architect and Transformation Consultant in this agile and DevOps-based transformation program included:• Review and analysis of existing business and organisational model and their mapping with IT application components.• Business requirements definitions and stakeholder management for organisational design and business modelling of the target business and operating model with balanced scorecards.• Enterprise and SOA architecture design for mapping of the target business model with the target IT architecture.• Design and pilot implementation of an integrated Sales Forecasting and Logistic Capacity Planning Model with Predictive Analytics and organization of an RFI procedure with IBM and SAS for automation of this model.• Organisational restructuring of Sales and Business Processes Divisions with job profiling, staff selection, and training.• Organisational redesign and integration of Quality and Human Capital Management.• Project streamlining for implementation of 42 Automated Post Stations in major Bulgarian cities.

In 2015 RBG, advised by Bain & Co, initiated two transformation programs - Customer Experience and Bank Steering - for redesign and digitalisation of several major business processes and implementation of new IT solutions for branch front-office, product pricing & billing, 24/7 transaction processing, DWH upgrade, and optimisation of business, risk, and regulatory reporting. In the period of October 2014 to September 2015 I was contracted as a Transformation Consultant to provide professional consulting services for:• Business requirements definitions and analyses with involvement of bank retail, corporate, and risk divisions.• Business and functional mapping and GAP analysis of the existing and target business models with target Enterprise and SOA architecture design based on Java/Oracle technology stack. • Transformation program governance setup with redesign of existing PMO role and introduction of Program Management and Business Transformation roles and responsibilities.• Program and project management planning and setup of the two Customer Experience and Bank Steering Transformation Programs with 8 simultaneously running IT projects for a new branch front office, product pricing & billing, and improvement of bank risk reporting for total 10 MEUR investment.• Setup and management of several simultaneously running RFI/RFP procedures with vendor negotiation and project & resource planning with Oracle for implementation of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing platform.• Achieved sizable reduction of initial vendor licensing, implementation, and maintenance costs.

Ensured attractive bank loan for working capital, managed two private capital increases and the company transformation from a limited liability company into a joint stock company.

UniCredit Bulbank (UCB) is the largest Bulgarian bank, subsidiary of the leading CEE and Italian UniCredit Group. Following its strategy for leadership in payment services, in 2011 UCB commenced a complex program for redesign of its payment services with implementation of a new and integrated payment service model and SOA technology platform. At the beginning of 2011 I was contracted as a Managing Consultant and Program Manager to:• Review and analyse the existing heterogeneous business model and IT environment with many disintegrated payment service processes and applications with separate data registries and silos.• Business and stakeholder requirements analysis and design of an integrated business and SOA information model with common data model, unified business and IT processes, standardized interfaces, and integrated bank channels.• Business case design and financial analysis for alternative scenarios for program design and implementation.• Present the alternative scenarios, roadmaps, and business cases to the Management Board for decision.• Prepare and support the RFP procedure for IT vendor selection and negotiation for the selected target scenario with development of a completely new platform to replace the existing 3 unique and disintegrated payment platforms.• Turn-key program management and coordination of 4 major bank divisions and 2 major IT vendors for the SOA design, development, SIT and UAT, user training, roll-out of the new integrated technology platform based on the Open Source, Java/Oracle technology stack and Oracle FlexCube core banking system. • The program was successfully completed by the end of 2014 with the following results: consolidated payment services, increased customer satisfaction and loyalty, improved risk analysis, and lower operational risk with optimized processes and reduced number of IT applications.• The program was selected by the CIO Club and Magazine as a “Bulgarian IT Corporate Project of 2015”.

DSK Bank is the largest Bulgarian retail bank and subsidiary of Hungarian OTP Bank Group. In 2009 the bank commenced a comprehensive program for business modelling, technical implementation, channels integration and roll-out of an integrated business and centralized SOA information model of its income and payment services. I was contracted as a management consultant and IT program manager with the following main responsibilities:• Outline the bank IT strategy and consult the IT project portfolio design and planning• Stakeholders’ interviewing, business requirements definitions, analyses, and process modeling for advanced IT technology platform with incorporated dynamic scoring engine.• Program/project planning, management with coordination of 8 bank departments and 3 major IT vendors for the redesign, implementation, and roll-out of an integrated IT platform for contract management, payment order processing and channels integration for bank payment services, based on DotNet front-office, IBM WS Process Server/zOS running business layer, and FIS/Metavante Dimension core banking system.• Stakeholders’ management with program status and progress reporting to the bank Managing Board.• Successful implementation of this advanced IT platform enhanced the bank payment capabilities through various channels, and sustained the leading DSK Bank market position in retail payment services.

Managing and Investment Consultant in private equity deal facilitation, strategy planning, business modeling, organizational redesign, management team selection and training, and implementation of balanced scorecards at Teletek Group Holding, portfolio company of Global Finance Private Equity Fund. Interim Member of the Board of Directors from Global Finance's quota, managing the business process reengineering at manufacturing company Teletek Electronics, setup of 2 new regional branches and 2 new business units at electro-distributor Teletek, and supervision of large-scale installation project for all electrical systems in Galleria Mall Varna with electro-installer Siltek Engineering.

The unique triple-merger of Bulbank, HVB Bank Biochim and Hebros Bank in 2007 followed the merger decision of Italian UniCredit Group and German HVB Group in 2006. HVB Bank Biochim and Hebros Bank were the Bulgarian subsidiaries of HVB Group, and Bulbank was the Bulgarian subsidiary of UniCredit Group. In 2005 and later in 2006 I was contracted as an Interim IT merger consultant and program manager with key responsibilities for IT merger planning, budgeting, staffing, initiation for EUR 20+ million in partnership with Capgemini, Accenture, and McKinsey:• Review of existing 3 and selection of target integrated IT application architecture and infrastructure environment.
