I led the launch of WANdisco Fusion, the company’s first Big Data product. As part of a shift in strategy, I created the partner marketing function to drive towards a channel-driven business, targeting IBM, Oracle, EMC, and HP as strategic partners. Other projects included the launch of a free trial (downloadable) version of WANdisco Fusion and implementation of a lead scoring system inclusive of a formal lead management process that measured and compared ROI for leads across different lead sources.

In preparation for the launch of RMS’s first SaaS offering, I built the company’s first global marketing organization and recruited a high-performing team of 40+ people across brand and creative, product marketing, demand generation and corporate communications. My responsibilities included developing the product positioning and market messaging for the shift from on-premise to the cloud as well as the development and roll-out of an innovative new pricing approach for the industry’s first SaaS product. I led the rebrand of the company, transformed a customer conference into a recognized industry event and expanded the communications function to transition RMS from an insurance industry leader to a global business leader. As head of global marketing I reported directly to Hemant Shah, RMS CEO.
