Product Development Engineer
Current• Functional Owner EL/Mech: Responsible as design owner for tower Electrical/mechanical modules in NPD, execution, and cost out projects• Design effort estimation for the NPD & execution project schedule and hand over to the project manager and project lead• Team lead for some Major projects like ETP-STP mkIV, MMD, Split tower TD, Slosh 2.0, ETP mkV, R25• Ensuring team development by delegating responsibilities & creating an ownership culture among the team members• Participated in major reviews for NPD,Costout and execution projects as a stakeholder.• Supported PM in NG9 ETP project for monitoring and tracking the Gate deliverables, R3, R5, R6, R9 – reviews – Actions follow-up – CE technical files - PRS compliance deliverables• Evaluate the design & drawings in conformance to DFM & DFA methodologies, Form Fit–Function, drawing guidelines, GPS (GD&T) and validate the design meets product specifications.• Driving cross functional communication in understanding the requirements to finally delivering projects as per committed schedule• Having international exposure with Europian counterpart for the prototype building & testing of 66kV & ETP• Functionality Reviewer and Providing the disposition for QSYS under PE, PT & Elec/Mech functionality• Project planning NPD and Cost Out (Standardization of design process, Responsibilities for concept creation & their alignment meetings with different stakeholders with Business case, Storyboard, DFMEA, DRA, DDL, PDS, PRS, R5 Compliance documents etc)• Exposure in steel structure design in sheet metal, Manufacturing process ,Material Selection, Welding/Fabrication• Wind university trainer for EDP & NX methodology(to get the required licenses) which helps New joiners to be onboard in SGRE • Worked as a team member for external, Internal & foundation in D3, G2mkIV in onshore tower & 66kV solution in offshore tower• Patent filed for ‘Handling a Power Cable of a Wind Turbine' (Invention disclosure: 2021E09865 IN)
