• Develop the medical strategic and tactical plan for Cross-Tumour Immuno-Oncology (safety management, dosing and formulation, mechanism of action), taking into account medical objectives across tumor types (Lung, GU, GI, Melanoma), as a component of the integrated Pan-Tumour Brand Plan• Liaise with the field medical team to implement regional tactics aligned with the national medical plan• Provide scientific expertise and support for the BMS immuno-oncology portfolio• Act as scientific liaison between medical affairs, regulatory, commercial, market access, and clinical operations• Develop strong relationships with key investigators and thought leaders, organizing numerous national advisory boards, discussing investigator-initiated trials and supporting educational programs

Member of the leadership team responsible for providing scientific and medical expertise to Program and Project Managers in a matrix organization, building the RCN brand, maintaining and sustaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Providers (HCPs), and leading initiatives to achieve integrated world-class care at the Jewish General Hospital, McGill University Health Center and St-Mary’s Hospital.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS• In collaboration with the RCN Clinical Lead, created a vision framework for hospital integration and aligned/prioritized projects to achieve objectives • Developed, planned and delivered strategic scientific content (reports, abstracts, poster or oral presentations and web content) to augment awareness of RCN activities to various stakeholders • Refocused and energized the Disease Site Program (breast, GI, GU, GYN, HEME, H&N, and lung) by working closely with physician leaders to define objectives for improving delivery of cancer care services• Instituted and led a monthly Quality Council with clinical representatives from each hospital, quality advisors (internal and the Chief Quality Officer of Dana-Farber) and patient representatives. This committee was essential to launching the first public scorecard in June 2017• Produced a repository of active clinical trials accessible to clinicians and patients • Created a portfolio of data-driven quality improvement projects with standardized tools for project management and reporting• Managed and coached a team of project managers, data analysts, statistician and coordinators

Responsible for fostering collaborative relationships with KOLs, providing scientific and medical expertise to various functional teams, developing an academic research organization, monitoring industry trends, maintaining scientific expertise through review of scientific literature and attending key meetings/conferences, advising management on new policies and strategic positioning, and supporting business development activities.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS• Actively managed clinical trial projects from concept development to publication and presentation. Responsibilities included identifying and recruiting investigators, negotiating contracts with sites, vendors (ex. CROs, drug distribution, laboratory services) and industry partners, managing budgets and providing regulatory oversight. Studies included:>>> “Personalize my Treatment” trial. Addressed ethical and legal issues for an initiative where patients consent to provide tissue for molecular profiling, share their coded molecular and clinical data, be re-contacted for clinical trials or other research, and be followed for life. >>>“WINTHER”, a Worldwide Innovative Network (WIN) Consortium trial. Led the task of Health Canada approval for the first trial of its kind, in which genomic & transcriptomic results are supplied to an algorithm to predict the efficacy of marketed or experimental drugs for the individual patient. >>> Investigator-initiated trials: 1rst line metastatic colorectal cancer (NCT00984048), Relapsed or refractory DLBCL (NCT01238692), 2nd line metastatic colorectal cancer (NCT02045030, NCT01538680), Metastatic lung cancer (NCT02041468).• Established and addressed knowledge gaps through continuing medical education events & activities (Training seminar on assessing response in oncologic imaging, 2-day Conference on Therapeutic Resistance in Cancer, special issue (16 articles) on drug resistance in the journal Frontiers in Pharmacology of Anti-Cancer Drugs (http://bit.ly/ShCcnh)).

Responsible for liaising with investigators and pharma to create a clinical research network within Quebec and secure investments in clinical research.
